Adam Bodnar
Minister of Justice, Prosecutor General
Adam Bodnar is a Polish lawyer, academic, and politician. He holds a habilitation degree in law and previously served as the Commissioner for Human Rights. From 2006 to 2020, he taught at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. From 2015 to 2021, he served as the Commissioner for Human Rights. Since 2020, he has been a professor at SWPS University, where from 2021 to 2023 he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Law in Warsaw. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in the field of law and has collaborated with many non-governmental organizations, both domestic and international. In 2023, he was elected as a senator. On 13 December 2023, he was appointed as the Minister of Justice.
